Rabeprazole And Domperidone are used for various Gastric Conditions which lead to Gastric Reflux.

Overview

  • Domperidone is a potent Dopamine 2 (D2) receptor antagonist that does not enter the CNS to significant extent 1,2
  • It inhibits D2 Receptors in the Chemo Trigger Zone.1
  • It causes prolactin release from the anterior pituitary.1
  • Reports of the central nervous system related adverse events are rare with domperidone.1,2
  • Rabeprazole has a greater anti-secretory potency relative to equivalent doses of other PPIs 2
  • 94% patients had excellent or good relief as assessed by their physician with combination of Rabeprazole and Domperidone in treatment of GERD.3
  • 86% of patients rated treatment of GERD with Rabeprazole and Domperidone as good or excellent.3
